Summary

Simple Fest has no accounts, no advertising and no analytics. Your guest list and scans stay on your device unless you turn on device sync.

Data stored on your device

• The guest list you import (CSV, Excel file or Google Sheet link) and the scans you record.
• An optional OpenAI-compatible API key for AI column detection. It is only sent to the API provider you configure, when you import a list.

Removing the event in the app, or deleting the app, removes this data.

Device sync

When you host or join a sync session, the guest list and scan events are relayed between your devices through a temporary room on Cloudflare. Rooms are protected by a one-time secret in the invite and are not used to keep a permanent copy of your data.

Camera

The camera is used only to read ticket and invite QR codes. Images are not stored or uploaded. Simple Fest does not record audio and does not use your location.

Google Sheets

When you import a Google Sheet link, the app downloads that sheet's public CSV export directly from Google.

Children

Simple Fest is a tool for event staff and is not directed at children.
